Privacy Policy

DonutWork for macOS

Overview

DonutWork is a menu-bar app that helps you visualize how you split your work week. Your privacy is simple: we don't collect your data.

Data Storage

All data stays on your Mac:

  • Tasks and preferences are saved locally using macOS UserDefaults.

  • Weekly snapshots are stored as JSON files in your Documents folder.

  • Monday.com API tokens, if you choose to connect, are stored in the macOS Keychain and never leave your device except to authenticate with monday.com's servers.

Monday.com Integration

If you choose to enable the optional monday.com integration, DonutWork communicates directly with monday.com's API to sync your work ratios to a board you select. This connection is between your Mac and monday.com — DonutWork does not route data through any intermediary servers. No data is shared with us.

Analytics and Tracking

DonutWork does not include any analytics, crash reporting, advertising frameworks, or tracking of any kind. We do not collect usage data, device information, or personal information.

Third-Party Services

DonutWork has zero third-party dependencies. The only external service the app communicates with is monday.com, and only if you explicitly enable the integration.

Children's Privacy

DonutWork does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
